KO FUN adventure park
From what age can children use the park?
KO FUN is built for children aged 4 to 12. You need 100 cm of height for the starter level and 120 cm for the main level, and a weight under 60 kg. Height is measured at the entrance, before the harness is issued — not as a formality, but because that is what makes the harness work as designed.
How much is a visit and is time limited?
A single ticket is 500 THB per child, with no time limit on the courses: a child leaves when they are tired. An accompanying adult comes in free. A five-visit pass is 2,000 THB, valid 60 days. The family rate for two children is 900 THB.
Does an adult have to go on the course too?
No. For children under 8 an adult must be on site, but they can wait in the café — the whole course is visible from there. If you want to take the route together, the harness for an adult is 300 THB.
What should a child wear?
Closed shoes with a fixed heel — flip-flops are turned away at the entrance. Comfortable clothes you don’t mind getting dirty. Bring water, insect repellent, sunscreen and a spare T-shirt.
What happens if it rains?
The courses close while it rains, the children move to the covered playroom and chill zone and return when it stops. If the courses stay closed for more than an hour, we move the visit to any other day or refund the ticket in full. Arrange it on WhatsApp.
Who supervises children on the route?
An instructor works the course, one to no more than eight children. Before the start there are ten minutes of briefing on the ground, on a practice section. The belay is continuous: the carabiner only comes off on the ground.
Limpopo kindergarten
From what age do you take children?
The kindergarten takes children from 1 to 7 years old, in four groups by age and readiness. Summer camps are for children aged 3 to 10.
Can a child attend for a week or a month?
Yes, and it is the usual arrangement for families here for a season. A short stay is 1,500 THB a day or 6,500 THB a week, with no annual contract. A full day on the monthly rate is 22,000 THB, a half day until 13:00 is 15,000 THB.
What languages are used?
The main language of the kindergarten is Russian. English runs every day, including two sessions a week with a native speaker. Reading and writing follow Jolly Phonics, and progress is tracked against the Cambridge English: Young Learners levels. Thai is not taught.
How many children are in a group?
Up to 8 in the youngest group (1–3), up to 10 in the middle (3–5) and up to 12 in the oldest (5–7). Two adults stay with the youngest group at all times.
How do meals work?
Five a day: breakfast, a mid-morning snack, lunch, an afternoon snack and dinner for children staying late. Everything is cooked in our own kitchen on site — nothing is delivered in. Allergies and special diets are agreed when you enrol and we build a separate menu.
Who watches the children in the pool?
Two adults are always at the water, one of them in the pool rather than on the edge. Children do not need to swim: the shallow section comes up to a child’s chest, and armbands and jackets are available. The water is checked every morning.
What if a child falls ill?
A child with a temperature or a rash is not admitted and parents are called straight away — that protects the rest of the group. They can return the day after the temperature is normal.
Can we look around before enrolling?
Yes. Visits are by appointment, weekdays 10:00–12:00 — working hours, so you see the groups as they normally are rather than staged. A trial day is 800 THB, meals and pool included; if you enrol for a month afterwards we deduct it from the fee.
How does settling in work?
We start with short days and don’t rush the first nap in the group. For the first week a parent gets a message during the day with the facts: ate, slept, played. There is a fuller account of the first two weeks in this article.
General
Are the park and the kindergarten the same place?
No. KO FUN and Limpopo are two separate projects in Rawai with different addresses, schedules and rules. They share a team and a family-focused approach. Don’t use one address for the other — if in doubt, message us and we’ll send the pin.
How do we book a birthday party?
Parties run at KO FUN: three packages from 6,500 THB for a group of up to ten children. Adults come in free and you can bring your own cake with no corkage. See the birthdays page.
Can we pay online?
The checkout is built and you can put an order together on the tickets page, but no payment provider is connected yet — the site cannot take money at this stage. Send the order on WhatsApp and we will confirm it.
Is there a Thai version of the site?
In progress. The site currently works in Russian and English.
What is the fastest way to reach you?
WhatsApp: +7 906 785-83-57. The park’s phone is +66 63 356 4363. We reply during the venues’ opening hours.
